Shineline acknowledges that, in some situations, people may not be aware that their behavior is unacceptable or offensive. Laws against discrimination and harassment apply to all people. Unlawful discrimination and sexual and other forms of harassment and bullying may occur in all types of relationships in the workplace. This includes relationships between any of the following: clients, colleagues, supervisors, subordinates or other employees. This policy applies to all employment and service provision relationships within Shineline.

Shineline will not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment or bullying. Shineline expects every manager and employee to comply with this policy and always to treat clients and colleagues with dignity and respect.

Shineline will implement procedures to define and resolve complaints of direct and indirect discrimination and of harassment or bullying on the grounds recognised in relevant State and Federal laws and in Shineline policy.

In carrying out its responsibilities, Shineline will take active steps to support its employees and to develop a more tolerant workforce. It will provide information to all employees and management about what constitutes discrimination and harassment and about respective responsibilities.
